Aloha everyone,

The Big Island Hot Rod Association will be cancelling the Outlaw drags on 17 Jul 2010. Keith Aguair's brother has passed away this pass Sunday.

I/we strongly feel it is a time to mourn the loss of a loved one and be in support of the Aguiar family in this time of need and to assist Keith in whatever way we can. We also mourn the loss of Alan Chong "Chong "E" that passed away on 1 Jul 2010. Chong "E" was always there every Friday to help us set up for the Outlaw drags for many years so that we may enjoy a friendly and fun outing at the track. 

So in this time of hardship and mourning, we need realize that life is short. So enjoy racing with family and friends. There is no room for "issue's"....................................please help us notify as many racers and spectators as possible for us. We do appreciate all of you who help us spread the word around. Our next race will be on 21 August 2010 at which time we will run the "Stray-Kat" program.

There were 3 race cars in the pits, everyone was at home waiting to see if the rain will let up. The rain did let up but no one was there but the track crew. BIHRA could not bank on maybe people will come. Once the first car goes down the track Insurance, Medics, Track personnel, Cops all have to get paid. So the call was cancel. My suggestion for the racers would be to come down to the track even if it is raining, that way if it clears up BIHRA will see that the racers are there supporting there efforts. Sorry for the Cancellation.

*Stray-Kat Motorsports next event (event #2)will be on May 8, 2010.
*Stray-Kat motorsports make up race for March 6, 2010, (event #1) will be June 12, 2010

*In the future Stray-Kat Motorsports events that are cancelled may be made up on the next day, Sundays. So be prepared and keep your self informed our phone numbers are on the posters and straykatmotorsports.com web sight.

Rained out

Stray-Kat Motorsports Buggy wins 1st Place in Race Car Class at Rod and Custom Car Show.
The Big Block V8s never stood a chance!! We want to thank the 5 IKPS racers that draged there cars for the 200 mile trip and the 2 local IKPS racers for bringing there cars to the show to help promote the 2010 season.
